WHAT IS A COMPUTER VIRUS? 
A computer virus is a program that was built with specific instructions for do damage or disrupt a computer system. Normally it can copy itself into a medium such as a hard disk, disk floppy or other media. With advances in technology, computer virus was created to be more violent and do more damage than previous viruses.

HOW CAN A COMPUTER VIRUS SPREAD?

 Computer viruses can spread through some medium or method.Usually are as follows: 
1. Through Diskette.
 2. Through CD-ROM/RW. 
3. Through Thumb / Handy Drive.
4. Through the Network (Network) 
5. Through the Internet.

Virus Spread Through Diskette.If you are using a computer infected with the virus and inserting blank diskette into the computer to save the file,

the virus that are stored in the memory will transfer certain virus into diskette you are using through the files that are copied.

Virus Spread Through CD-ROMThis phenomenon can occur if you copy a file from a computer that infected with the virus to a CD-RW or take or install software from CD-ROM containing the virus.


Through Thumb / Handy Drive.Thumb / Handy drive is the easiest medium to spread the virus computer. This is because it is easy to use and does not have a lock function.
